Verse 1

[C]This is the threefold truth
O[G]n which our[C] faith depends;
[Em]And with this [Am]joyful cry
[G]Worship begins and ends;

[F]Christ has died!
[E7]Christ is risen!
[F]Christ [G]will[C] come again!

[C]By this we are upheld
Wh[G]en doubt a[C]nd grief assails
[Em]Our Christia[Am]n fortitude,
[G]And only grace avails.

[F]Christ has died!
[E7]Christ is risen!
[F]Christ [G]will[C] come again!

[C]This is the threefold truth
Which, i[G]f we h[C]old it fast,
[Em]Changes the w[Am]orld and us
[G]And brings us home at last.

[F]Christ has died!
[E7]Christ is risen!
[F]Christ [G]will[C] come again!
