Privacy Notice

1. Who we are

EnzelScale is operated by ENZELL DIGITAL ADVERTISING SERVICES, trading as EnzelScale. We are the data controller for the personal data described here — we decide why and how it is processed.

2. Data we collect and why

• Account data (name, email, password hash, sign-in provider) — to create and secure your account. Legal basis: performance of our contract with you.
• Content you upload (songs, chord charts, PDFs, audio tracks, setlists, marketplace listings and photos, ad creatives) — to store and display it for you and, where you publish it, to other users. Legal basis: contract.
• Marketplace and campaign data (listing location, seller profile, campaign schedule) — to run Marketdi and ADSdi. Legal basis: contract.
• Support messages — to answer your questions. Legal basis: legitimate interests in supporting our users.
• Usage and device data (pages viewed, feature events, device type, IP address, error logs) — for security, fraud prevention, troubleshooting and product improvement. Legal basis: legitimate interests.
• Subscription status (plan, renewal dates, billing events received from Paddle) — to give you the features you paid for. Legal basis: contract and legal obligation.
• Marketing preferences — only where you have opted in. Legal basis: consent, withdrawable at any time.

Card and billing details are collected and processed by Paddle, not by us. We never see your full card number.

3. Who we share data with

• Paddle.com, our Merchant of Record, for the sale of our products, subscription management, payments, tax compliance and invoicing.
• Service providers / subprocessors for hosting, database and file storage, authentication, email delivery, analytics and error monitoring.
• Other users, where you choose to publish content such as marketplace listings, seller profiles or Artist Spotlight tracks.
• Professional advisers (legal, accounting) and authorities where required by law.

We do not sell your personal data. Where data is transferred outside your region, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as standard contractual clauses or adequacy decisions.

4. Retention

We keep account and content data while your account is active, and delete or anonymise it within 90 days of account closure unless we must keep it longer for legal, tax or dispute reasons. Billing records are retained for the period required by tax law. Logs are kept for up to 12 months.

5. Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may request access to your data, correction, erasure, restriction or portability, object to processing based on legitimate interests, and withdraw consent at any time. Contact us and we will respond within one month. If you are in the UK or EEA you may also complain to your local supervisory authority.

6. Security

We apply appropriate technical and organisational measures, including encryption in transit, encrypted storage, row-level access controls so users can only reach their own records, private signed URLs for uploaded media, and restricted administrative access.

7. Cookies and local storage

We use strictly necessary cookies and browser local storage to keep you signed in and remember settings such as stage mode and font size. We may use limited analytics to understand feature usage. We do not use third-party advertising cookies. You can clear or block cookies in your browser, though sign-in will stop working.

8. Children

EnzelScale is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their data.
